Slowly but surely we're updating. We have been swamped with paying work and this page has suffered as a result.

The big Internet search Engines like Alta Vista show over 10,000 hits mentioning Corpus Christi. Yahoo!'s Index of Corpus Christi is a little more reasonable, but not being a full text system misses a lot. We are slowly but surely weeding our way through the Web to give you a quality Index of the Web In Corpus Christi. We do this as a public service.. well.. Aside from Our Stuff (this time of year our Ultimate South Texas Weather Page is the high tech way to track hurricanes). some Corpus area sites worth checking out include the. The Corpus Christi Caller Times., and their coolest feature, the ability to Search a partial archive of material from the paper.. There's also always the brother-in-law page, Software Kinetics, which is in fact my sister's-husband's brother's page. Citizens Bank has good pages that proves even a bank VP can learn to design web pages.

Some of the newer hot stuff includes The Coastal Bend Connection, an entertainment guide and more. If it's kept up to date, it'll be one of the most visited pages in town. Check out the Lists of Corpus Personal Homepages maintained by TAMUCC professor Kathryn R. Donohue. While at our local university, Dr. Pat Michaud's famous Strawberry Pop-Tart Blow-Torches is also worth a look.

The best new page to pop up in Corpus in a long time is with lots of information about what's happening in the city (kind of like the Weekender in the newspaper but better). If they keep this up-to-date, this will be the best non Farenthold Consulting site in Corpus! I hope they have the time and money to make this work.

• If you are looking for a home down in the Sparklin' City by the Sea, the Corpus Christi Board of Realtors has a searchable List of Properties for sale.
• ChannelView Condominium in Port Aransas offers a cool fishing pier and nice condo rentals on the Island.
• Condominium Consulting Management Services, Inc. has a Port Aransas page promoting rentals at La Marage, Sandcastle, and Sandpiper. If you want to buy (or see more Port A stuff) check out Farenthold Consulting's client Whitten Real Estate or rent from out client ChannelView Condominium.
• The Corpus Christi Caller Times (our local daily paper) has an electronic edition that is graphic intense. Some of the updated daily. Their best feature allows you to do full text searches on back issues of the paper . Too bad they don't tell you how complete the database is (a search on "Farenthold" turned up this and this, but missed the big feature they did on personal homepages in November '95).
• The Corpus Christi Board of Realtors is now online so you can shop for a new home in Corpus Christi without from wherever you are. real estate shopping is a super Internet application.
• Captain Wallace Kelley (the fishing guy on channel 6 news) has a home page for his fishing business with some cool fishing photos.
• Citizens Bank does a good corporate image page including Corpus Christi links and lots of info about the bank.
• "Come to the Coastal Bend of Texas for the Best Bay Fishing in North America" so says Coastal Bend Guides Association. Corpus Christi dot com is a Corpus Christi Electronic yellow pages, restaurant guide and more. There is a lot of good stuff. Too bad they compete with us for web design (buy a hyperlink listing from them and have us do your web page :-)
• CC Internet Mall (Would someone tell these carpetbaggers that Corpus is on the South side of the bay!)
• Da Hut was one of the first Corpus Christi Businesses on the net, but has one of the dullest presentations we've seen. Buy a color monitor guys!
• Fax Access from Fax Advertising to the Internet.
• Giggles Surf and Skate is selling skateboards and inline skates on the net. You can download a zip file with their catalog.
• Jack Graham
• Half Price Books and Cafe Calypso (their in store coffee bar) both have a single page storefront.
• Local manufacturer Horton Automatics makes all sorts of cool doors and drive up windows, but used a Houston firm to design their Web site.
• I Wear Tee Shirts sells Internet related T-shirts online.
• KEYS Radio 1440am
• KMXR gives you a chance to see their DJ's pictures to along with weekly notes from their program director and a wide assortment of links. Also conspicuously absent is the one to Web Corpus!
• KFTX-WILD Country Joins the parade of Corpus Radio Stations online. Check out the rather blurry pictures of some of the DJ's. It kinda breaks the illusion doesn't it?
• KRIS TV, our NBC affiliate Channel 6 is on the web, though they don't have the daily updates you'd hope for with news and full programming schedules, but they do have Dale Nelson's tomato tips, staff biographies, job listings, and quite a few links.
• Linda and Paul at L&P Electronics are old drinkin buddies of some of the Farenthold Consulting personnel.. If you don't catch them on the Internet, you might find them on a Friday Evening at P.O.E.T.S. on Saratoga and Everheart.

• Matt Hole and the Hot Rod Gang is a corpus band with a net page. All it's missing is an email link to the dancing girl on top of the page.
• Media Basics is a creative high tech advertising group that is having quite an effect on the way the tourism business is done in Corpus Christi.

• The Raven's Gallery is a collection of digitized pinups brought to you by Nick at The Raven & The Sparrow Internet Café. A guy in California sent us a letter and suggesting that we link to his pinups site instead claiming some sort of copyright dispute that Nick says is non existant. (By following any of these links, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Farenthold Consulting from any legal claims arising therefrom) :-) Coffeecup.com also has a Software Dowload Links Page and are creating a Book of Poems).

• Routh & Associates is loss prevention consulting firm with a short blip on the net, their logo, however, didn't scan well.
• 6 West & Associates is a marketing/ad agency run in part by an old buddy of Blake's. Too bad they compete with Farenthold Consulting for Web design!

• In my search for a new hobby, I decided I'd look into diving, so I took some classes at Sea Sea Divers and Chuck (the owner.. his picture is by the BBQ pit on their Caribbean Adventures page) told me about their homepage. This new hobby may work out, especially if I can trade Web pages for air.
• Shelley's Travel Service has a page with lowest air fares from Corpus Christi updated weekly.
• Shirts & More (sorry about the typo on the last version of Web Corpus) has a simple page selling custom shirts, a computer T and an Interconnect (local ISP) shirt.

• The La Belle Project is a cool site with updates on salving the wreck of the La Belle, believed to be one of La Salle's ships. Much of the work on this project is being done at the Corpus Christi Museum of Natural History.
